Raised-Panel Doors

Traditional pine doors built to match existing originals. Through-tenoned and square-pegged with hardwood. All parts hand-planed prior to assembly for an authentic look and feel. Panel edges primed prior to assemble.

School Doors

Entrance at the Sharon Academy middle school in Sharon, Vermont. A pair of yellow birch doors with insulated glass above and applied moldings over captured flat panels below. Three ball bearing hinges support each 95lb. door. The doors are fully draft-proof with jamb and centerstile weatherstripping and doorsweeps that engage on a black locust threshold.

Formal Entryway

Reproduction using original exterior head casing, four panel door, and hardware. New parts include black locust threshold, raised panels, sidelights, interior trim, and mahogany storm door.

Reproduction Sidelights

To be used as storm sash in front of the existing, original entryway sidelights. The same muntin profile was re-created, glass was glazed in, and the units were pre-painted before installation.

Storm Windows

Mahogany storms with stepped bridle joints. Tempered glass is bedded in silicone and held in place by thumbnail-profile stops. A mortised mid-stile adds rigidity.

Screen Doors

Mahogany doors with bronze screen panels and doggy-door. Screens can be removed to allow installation of glass in winter. Cast brass spring hinges.

Oiled Douglas fir, pegged mortise and tenon joinery, curved top rail, beaded stiles, and insulated glass.
