Spalted Bowl

8" diameter bowl turned from a bolt of figured, spalted hard maple. Finished with mineral oil. Also some beetle holes; I don't think it holds water!

Salad Bowl Set

A wedding present. These six bowls were turned from the greenest section of maple trunk that I could get. Water was literally flying off the bowl blanks as they spun on the lathe. The completed bowls take on a life of their own during the drying process, becoming slightly oblong and otherwise distorted in subtle ways, each with it's unique shape. Once dry, the bowls were hand-sanded and finished with mineral oil. Eat up!

Changing Tray

Made to accept a standard contoured changing pad. This one is butternut and features hand-cut dovetailed corners and little heart finger-holes. Available with a cute baby for an extra charge.

Serving Tray

Everyone knows that breakfast-in-bed plays a pivotal role in any successful marriage. A tray plays the pivotal role in getting the goods from the kitchen to the bedroom. Although this particular one is a little more rustic than most of the things I make, it takes advantage of the natural curve of the butternut plank from which it's made. Carved hand-holds and a lip to keep the coffee 'on-board.'

Cutting Board(s)

Birdseye maple, sized for cutting and serving bread, about 21"L x 7"W. I make cutting boards as gifts frequently so I'll add photos of others as they come along.
